In 2014 I mentioned to a friend of mine I would like to take an Akashic Records reading course. Her response to me was “why, you already access them.” I remember thinking that is interesting. Which prompted me to do some research at that time. I found several informative pdf documents. The most interesting information I found and remember is this. I know that it is of course dependent on the urgency of the information for a person to receive, but here goes. One of the pdf documents stated that a person who is doing a general reading for someone, will have the information come through the readers filters. They will also only be able to access information depending on how much personal work they have done for themselves. In this case you may hear something like, oh you are divinely protected and often not much else. I also understand that possibly the client may not be in a place in their journey to see the full truth of who they may be. There are so many variables when it comes to reading energy. One can not always be certain of the information they are receiving.

I have had some experience with this over the years. I remember getting a tea leaf reading in the 90’s and I had the person say you are divinely protected. She also mentioned a few things about my brother that turned out to be true. But, I didn’t really receive any information about me.

I went for a reading at a local book shop. This was only a few years ago. I had the reader tell me that I should look into learning about chakras and pick up some oracle cards. Develop my spiritual nature. Maybe learn some energy healing. I left feeling that I had wasted 40$.

In 2016 I had gone with my mom, brother and sister to a local place that has readers available while you drink your tea. I let each of them go first. They were quite happy with the information they received. I wasn’t quite happy with the energy I was feeling in this particular place. I sat down for my reading and I had a t-shirt on. The reader then proceeded to talk about my tattoos and not much else. Mentioned some spirit animals too. Back home a few days later I felt a presence in my room with not great energy so I felt the shift in energy. Almost as though I was being watched. Immediately I said out loud you do not have permission to be in my space, leave now. As soon as I asked what energy that was I heard and visualized the reader that had been at the tea shop. (Some say this is remote viewing or astral travel on the part of the reader.)

Take what you will from these experiences. Occasionally, I do ask for advice or guidance from other people. More confirmation that I am on the right path. It is always good to get guidance on certain directions you wish to explore. Take what feels good to you and leave the rest. You may revisit the information you leave and you may not. Everything has a place in your journey. Even if I do readings for other people, I reflect on what that message could mean for me as well. Nothing happens by accident, all information can be reflected on and benefit us all, if one feels inclined to learn more about themselves.

The best guidance is the guidance that comes from within or our own intuition. Clearing your energy to open up and create that space for you to have a pure, clear connection is the first step to your intuition or higher-self. Knowing you have that connection to higher dimensional energy and making sure you connection to the highest purest available energy to you. Tune in to the energy, see what you are able to explore. Baby steps. You are safe and protected when your intentions are pure.

You may already be accessing the Akashic Records. It may just be a matter of simply trusting yourself, what you see and being able to clearly discern the information coming through. The best readings are those when you trust what you are receiving from a place of neutrality and non-judgment.
