Back to Basics ~ Karma/Cause and Effect

Karma refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect, which states that an action is always accompanied by its consequences. It is linked to positive as well as negative thoughts, speech, and actions.

The law of cause and effect is a universal law that specifically states that every single action in the universe produces a reaction no matter what.

When most people talk about karma, they’re likely referring to the great law of cause and effect. According to this law, whatever thoughts or energy you put out, you get back — good or bad.

Since 2012, we have started a new age. The Age of Aquarius. I was informed by Andrea (energy teacher) that with this new age begins an age of instant karma. There is no lag in the effects of our actions. Much of the “past life karma” will be coming up to be seen and acknowledged. We are clearing away the energy from past experiences as we delve deeper into our healing. As we purify our own energy stream and that of our family (ancestral healing), we will become free of the karma that had been accumulated. Patterns and cycles that used to have an effect on our lives will no longer be holding us back.

I have been seeing a lot of information these last few days about Karma. I felt it was a great time to re-state views on this topic. I have written about this in the past, and here are the articles. They are not exactly about Karma, but it all ties in. https://spiritlovestudio.ca/2018/11/02/past-lives-soul-groups-family-tree/ https://spiritlovestudio.ca/2019/01/14/beliefs-cycles-personal-and-learned/ There is another article about Universal Laws that provides some additional information on this topic. https://spiritlovestudio.ca/2018/02/28/universal-laws/

To be completely honest, I have actually stayed away from writing about Karma over the years. Karma is a word that has so much negative publicity and energetic charge associated with it. We often forget that Karma is for the good stuff, too. I like the word they use in Buddhism, which is reserved for good Karma. Merit is a force that results from good deeds done. When I lived at the horse sanctuary with Ani-La, she would say this all the time. (what a magical transformative time)

Unknown origin

Take this in, or leave it. As we look at our lives from a place of non-judgment, we can see how cause and effect will work in our experiences. Whether we are aware of it or not. It can be a useful tool to review our life experiences and see things from another perspective. What caused a certain effect? What was the effect that resulted from a certain cause? Spend some time, create a meditation, or a time to contemplate situations that may be difficult or require some additional insight. You know the ones….the stories you tell that still hold an emotional charge/triggers.

Since hearing about the instant karma in the Age of Aquarius, I have certainly been working towards a new way of responding to life. I see what’s right, and I do what’s right. (Not always, but for the most part). Imagine if we lived in a society that subscribed to this principle. I can only imagine what it would be like if we each took responsibility for our actions, and we could see what’s right and do what right. Knowing what is right by how it feels. Wonderful or yucky.

I don’t know what else I can say about this topic. It feels like I’m done here. The energy has dissipated. The urge to write about this has passed. I will honor that.
