Time…

We live in a society that tells us when we sleep, eat, work, and our free time for ourselves is limited. If we choose to conform to what the standard is for the average person. Society and history tell us that time is limited and linear. We are conditioned to subscribe to this view of what time is.

Cyclical View and Linear time Many ancient cultures, particularly in the East, had a cyclical view of time. In these traditions, time was often seen as a recurring pattern of ages or cycles, where events and phenomena repeated themselves in a predictable manner. One of the most famous examples of this concept is found in Hindu philosophy, where time is depicted as a wheel called the “Kalachakra” or “Wheel of Time.” According to this belief, the universe undergoes endless cycles of creation, preservation, and destruction.

Similarly, in other ancient cultures such as those of the Mayans, Aztecs, and Chinese, there were also beliefs in cyclical time, often associated with astronomical observations and calendars. These cultures developed complex systems to track time, seasons, and celestial movements, reflecting their understanding of cyclical patterns in nature and the universe.

This view of time contrasts with the linear concept of time more common in Western thought, where time is seen as progressing in a straight line from past to future without repetition. Wikipedia

There is so much information and many perspectives on time. I have decided to include the spirit animals associated with time. As you come across any of these, look them up to see the message they have for you.

Ouroboros
A snake or dragon that eats its own tail, representing the cycle of time and life.

Phoenix
A bird that symbolizes rebirth, renewal, and transformation. It represents the cycle of life, death, and resurrection.

Turtle
A symbol of long life. Some experts believe that turtles could live up to 500 years.

Peacock                                represents immortality, pride, vanity, and self-assurance

Deer sometimes associated with the cycle of life. 

Butterfly is a symbol of rebirth and the delicate balance between life and death. 

It’s quite interesting that the Ouroboros came up since we are at the beginning of a snake year. Snake in Chinese astrology means wisdom, vitality, and transformation. When the snake sheds its skin, it’s like a fresh start—perfect for a new year. Especially this year, having such heightened energy and the astrology supporting huge transformation as we further progress into a new age. We are further clearing out the old Piscean structures in society to make way for new Aquarian ways of being to begin establishing their roots for the next 2500-year cycle.
